Cherie is a singer, vocal coach and music producer.  With a voice described as “smokey honey”, Cherie Mathieson is one of New Zealand’s most sought-after singers, a testament to her musical versatility, strong vocal performances and professional attitude.  Cherie is the live lead vocalist for Sola Rosa and is in much demand as a lead and backing vocalist for NZ recording artistes (Hollie Smith, Tama Waipara, and Nathan Haines); TV shows (X Factor and Dancing with the Stars 2015) and is the voice behind numerous commercials. Cherie’s duo “Platinum” is one of the most popular acts on the ‘high rotate’ roster for the Main Gaming Floor regular entertainment programme. Her career as an original recording artiste and songwriter has also seen her achieve success in NZ, UK and Japan through her collaborations with producers such as Jason Eli and Mark de Clive Lowe.
