Chocolate Box Deluxe is an extension of the monthly Chocolate Box Sessions held at the Matterhorn, Wellington, hosted by Lisa Tomlins and Vanessa Stacey.  With the addition of DJ Ayesha to the Box, CBD takes you on a musical adventure throughout the land of Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B and Jazz.  

A typical set might include an assortment of Soul/R&B classics from E Badu and Chaka Kahn to Marvin Gaye and maybe a little upbeat Bob Marley, depending on the event and audience.   Mix in a few original tunes (such as Lisa’s hit with Lord Echo) and bootlegs to spice things up with a good smattering of witty banter for the ultimate ‘recipe’ for a good time.
