Melville & Co

Chris Melville is one of the top jazz vocalists in NZ. He specialises in singing classic jazz songs from an era of style and class, and performs each one with his own unique warm, velvety vocal delivery. Available solo with backing tracks, with guitar/keyboard and bass/drums for bigger events.

Cherie Mathieson

 This talented vocalist has performed with many well-known NZ musicians and bands including Sola Rosa, Nathan Haines and more. She sings anything and everything but loves knocking the big jazz tunes out of the park. Cherie is available as a duo or with a live band.

Ness & Ellen

Ness and Ellen are both extremely talented singers and versatile performers whose love of singing shines through. These ladies have performed togther many times as well as with their own bands. Their voices blend beautifully as they roll out tunes from jazz and lounge to light pop. Available as a duo with backing tracks and with live musicians where required.

Music Factory

Music Factory is a popular choice for private functions and corporate events with the trio’s sophisticated-yet-fun approach to entertaining. They enjoy performing a wide range of well-known "old-school" jazz, swing, lounge and light pop tunes which they perform with soul, passion and expertise. Available as a trio with backing tracks or a full live band.

Allana and the SNH Jazz Trio

Allana Goldsmith is a rare gem, the kind of artist one hears for the first time and is immediately captivated.

“In many ways she is reminiscent of the great singers of the past. What is not redolent of past singers, however, is her preparedness to tackle adventurous modern projects.” – Gig review, the Creative Jazz Club (2013)

Allana has featured at many of the major festivals around the country, including most recently at the Waiheke International Festival (2017), Tauranga National Jazz Festival in 2014, Queenstown Jazz Festival in 2015, and Wellington and Auckland Matariki Festivals in 2014-2017.

At the age of 19 Allana was taken under the wing of some of the great jazz musicians of New Zealand. This is learning the old school way, not from a book or sitting in a classroom, but with mentors, handing down their wisdom and experience over a long period of time. Allana has been privileged to work with some of Aotearoa’s finest jazz musicians. Allana says, “These gentlemen were highly instrumental in furthering my jazz education.”

Although Allana has been singing Jazz for over 10yrs, she completed her Bachelor of Music Degree in 2016 majoring in jazz vocal performance with NZ School of Music, and she is currently undertaking her honours year at The University of Auckland. Allana also has a number of projects on the go in many different bands and genre of music  -including soul and post-modern jukebox.

McCallum Unlimited

MU brings a deep knowledge of jazz to the stage whether performing solo or with other musicians or vocalists. Jazz tunes are fused with modern forms of dance and beats culture to present a truly unique sound. While this is a super-cool background soundtrack, MU can easily switch things up to ‘bring the party’. Available in solo, duo, trio or live band formats.
